Removable Convictions Learning Byte
Applicants now have greater control over the disclosure information shared about them. If eligible, they can apply to have certain convictions and other information removed from their disclosure record.
This may include relevant spent convictions, childhood convictions, and other information that no longer needs to be disclosed.
The review process is designed to give applicants more control over their personal information while ensuring that organisations receive only information that is appropriate and relevant.
This learning byte will explain:
- The types of convictions and information that can be reviewed
- How the review process works
- What organisations need to consider when a review is underway
Please take a few minutes to stay informed and ensure you’re meeting your legal obligations within the Disclosure system.
