Volunteer Friendly Award
It’s time for small groups to shine and show their contribution to good volunteer practice.
The Volunteer Friendly Award is a Scotland quality standard for volunteer programmes, managed by Volunteer Scotland and delivered through a local TSI/Volunteer Centre. It is aimed at small to medium volunteer programmes, including small community groups and mutual aid groups.
Requirements are set at an achievable level for each volunteer programme, allowing for more groups to engage and be recognised for the work they do. The standard covers the five foundation quality strands and 18 key volunteer practices.

It’s never been more important for groups to be able to show how good they are at involving and managing their volunteers. We believe regardless of your group or organisation size or set up you should be rewarded and recognised for the difference your volunteer programme makes.
