'Change Calling' Mini Expo
In October 2021 Volunteer Scotland’s Board of Directors, members and stakeholders came together to discuss 'Volunteering is Changing, are you listening?'
During this session on change, Alan Stevenson discussed the current progress around Scotland’s Volunteering Action Plan, with a clear focus on ‘systems change’. Adrian Murtagh, described a very new role – that of a ‘system steward’ – that we think is critical to the success of the ‘Plan’. Matthew Linning, talked through examples of how we’re using evidence to understand a complex system and inform our actions. During a facilitated break out session, participants also shared their views on the range of issues raised.
