Our Approach
Volunteer Scotland represents the voice and interests of Scotland’s spectrum of volunteers, from informal to formal.
We advocate on behalf of volunteers and volunteering. We aim to create a Scotland where everyone can volunteer, more often, and throughout their lives.
The voice and experience of volunteers is at the centre of our influence. Our collaborative approach reflects the far-reaching nature of volunteering.
When required, we challenge decisions and practices that we believe are contrary to the interests of Scotland’s volunteers.
