About Opportunity

Would you like to help children and young people participate in  activities to build their skills and confidence? Could you spare a few hours a week? We are looking for volunteers with experience in a range of activities and in leading group activities. This could involve interests in music, art and crafts, cooking, and sports which can help improve the health and social wellbeing of our young people. Aberlour Options are a residential service for young people with learning disabilities. What will I be doing?Supporting young people to express their ideas and views on activitiesSupporting young people on outings and activitiesSpending your time talking to the young people, helping them to feel valued and listened toAssisting young people with activitiesBuilding young people's confidence and self esteemBeing a positive role model

At Aberlour we are there for Scotland's hidden children when others have let them down.  We specialise in residential and fostering services; early years; dependancy; disability and youth work.
