About St Andrew’s Day Torchlight Parade

West End Festival are delighted to announce that the St Andrew’s Day Torchlight Parade will be running for its third year on Friday 30th November. We are currently looking for volunteers to assist with the delivery of this challenging but exciting event.

The volunteer stewards will assist us with a variety of tasks at the event from stewarding to management but will ultimately be there to ensure the safe passage of the parade and that the event runs smoothly.

This will be a great opportunity for those interested in a career in events to be involved in something of this scale and its possible that this could lead to future involvement with Glasgow West End Festival's events programme.

The volunteers will need to be available for a late afternoon/evening brief on Thursday 29th November and then from 5 -8pm on the day of the event.
