About Great Scottish Run – Bowel Cancer UK Cheer Squad
Every year our amazing supporters don their trainers and Bowel Cancer UK running vests to help stop people dying of bowel cancer at the Great Scottish Run. We need your help too!
Join our team on Sunday 29th September as part of our Great Scottish Run cheer squad showing our supporters that we appreciate their amazing efforts.
Our runners really appreciate the support and cheers they get from our supporting cheer squad and it really helps to give them that extra push to reach the finish line!
By joining our cheer squad you will receive a Bowel Cancer UK t-shirt and a chance to create a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer.
About Bowel Cancer UK
We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
Bowel cancer is the third most common cancer in Scotland. Every year more than 3,700 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer in Scotland and around 1,500 people die from the disease. However bowel cancer is treatable and curable especially if diagnosed early.
We’re bringing people together – patients, families and friends, doctors and nurses, scientists and researchers, politicians and campaigners and everyone fundraising for us to create a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer. Join us.
