About Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2022 with Stroke Association 

Volunteer to support #TeamStroke in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2022, meet new people and help us rebuild lives.

We are looking for cheer point volunteers, volunteer photographers and support at our marquee in the charity village on Sunday 29 May.

Your support will impact the experience of our runners and encourage other runners to support us in the future. All of this in turn helps us fund vital research, campaign for greater awareness and provide better stroke care.

Volunteer Roles:

  • Saturday 28 May - Cheer point volunteer
  • Sunday 29 May - Cheer point volunteer, photographer, charity village support (making hot drinks, handing out snacks, welcoming runners as they enter the tent etc.)

The Stroke Association are here to support people to rebuild their lives after stroke. We believe everyone deserves to live the best life they can after stroke.

We provide specialist support, fund critical research and campaign to make sure people affected by stroke get the very best care and support to rebuild their lives.

Rebuilding lives after a stroke is a team effort. It takes the determination of stroke survivors and carers, the generosity of supporters and the dedication of the healthcare and research communities to get there.
