About Dundee Kiltwalk 2022
Our Kiltwalk events wouldn’t be possible without the help of our fantastic network of volunteers – the Kilties! They help our Kiltwalkers raise millions of pounds for causes all over Scotland, help deliver our Kiltwalk charity events, keep the Kiltwalkers’ spirits high and of course, add a touch of Kiltwalk magic!
Join our Kiltie team for the Dundee Kiltwalk 2022! You’ll be supporting thousands of walkers across our 25-mile route whilst also having fun, making friends and creating memorable experiences that will last forever.
With nine roles to choose from, there really is something for everyone! You could be checking our walkers in at one of our start venues, helping them re-fuel at one of our Pit Stops, keeping them motivated along the route or cheering them on as they cross the finish line. Or you might prefer to walk, cycle or drive as one of our Back Marker, Lead Bike or Driver Kilties.
All Kilties will receive training before the event and will be supported by Kiltwalk staff and fellow Kilties on the day. Lunch and a uniform will also be provided.
If you would like to learn new skills, meet new people and have a truly rewarding experience, then apply to become a Kiltie Volunteer with us today!
Charity Boost: Thanks to Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation, the Kiltwalk is delighted to announce that for every event a Kiltie volunteers at, a donation will be made to their chosen charity. Simply select the charity you would like to support during the application process.
Other Events: We also have volunteering opportunities at our events in Glasgow, Aberdeen and Edinburgh. Once you’ve been accepted to our Kiltie programme, you can sign up for shifts at any of our events – there’s no need to apply again.

Kiltwalks are mass participation walking events that raise much-needed funds for Scottish charities and projects.
Kiltwalkers can raise funds for any charity of their choice and thanks to the generosity of Sir Tom Hunter and The Hunter Foundation, all funds raised will be topped up by 50%.
Since 2016, our Kiltwalk Heroes have raised £19 million and The Hunter Foundation have added £10 million – that’s a total of £29 million for over 2,600 charities.
