Trustees’ Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.

Sometimes referred to as board members, committee members or directors, Trustees are the volunteers who give their energy, passion and expertise to make sure that charities exist and operate to support their members and beneficiaries, and make a difference to the public. Whether that it be in the local community or nationally, it all contributes to the National Performance Framework, making Scotland a better place for everyone.

OSCR and Scotland’s Third Sector Governance Forum are hosting, and taking part in a number of free, online events throughout the week.OSCR we will host 2 online events.

Meet the Charity Regulator

  • Date: Tuesday 3rd November
  • Time: 10am -12pm
  • Description: This event will highlight the things charity trustees need to be considering in the current climate.

Protecting your Charity's Reputation

  • Date: Wednesday 4th November
  • Time: 12pm - 1pm
  • Description: This event will focus on protecting your charity’s reputation. You will explore three case studies where charities of different type and sizes have gotten it wrong.
