Recruitment for four new Directors to Volunteer Scotland
12 July 2021
Nominate or apply now to join the Volunteer Scotland Board of Directors.
Our mission of ‘more people volunteering, enjoyably, regularly and safely’ is delivered through a nationally focused programme of work across Volunteer practice, Research & evaluation, Communications & events, Partnership working and Disclosure services.
We believe that volunteering should be an enjoyable, rewarding and fulfilling experience for the volunteer; that volunteers have the right to be safe and protected in delivering their volunteering roles; and that to derive health and wellbeing benefits from volunteering requires regular and meaningful contributions of time.
We’re in an exciting time for volunteering (and for Volunteer Scotland). Volunteers continue to play a critical role in the current crisis and are central to the ground-breaking work we’re supporting across the sector on creating the Volunteering Action Plan. This work is based upon the Volunteering for All: national framework.
We aim for the highest level of governance and diversity in our Board, and we are recruiting four new Directors from across all sectors (we’ve extended our recruitment to non VS members).
Completed forms should be emailed to email@example.com for the attention of Katrina Imrie. Deadline 5pm on 27th August 2021.
Please ensure that anyone you nominate has agreed to be nominated. You will receive an acknowledgement of your form by return from us.
Our director recruitment process or Member Directors is determined by our Memorandum and Articles of Association, which is available on request.
