Make someone's day this St Andrew's Day
12 November 2018
This St Andrew's Day (30th Nov) the Scottish Government are encouraging people in Scotland to mark the occasion by celebrating the true essence of Scottish people – our kindness and generosity.
They are asking everyone to collectively show they care and to 'Make Someones Day' by undertaking a little act of kindness that could have a big impact on 30th November.
#MakeSomeonesDay is a simple idea to give everyone the chance to celebrate Scotland’s special day by carrying out a little act of kindness. If everyone does one small thing this St Andrew’s Day, together we can make a big difference.
Whether it’s helping an elderly neighbour or popping into your local food bank with some donations, anyone can #MakeSomeonesDay this #StAndrewsDay by creating their own act of kindness – no matter how big or small.
Whether you are a local authority, business, community group or organisation the guide they have created has all the information you need to get involved and inspire your supporters, staff and volunteers to come together and show that they care.
