Visit Scotland has recently announced a competition to celebrate YOYP2018

Penguin Design

To celebrate the Year of Young People 2018, Scotland is putting its young people in the spotlight, celebrating their talents, contributions and creating new opportunities for them to shine.

For 10 weeks this summer the Maggie’s Centre in Dundee, is hosting the ‘Maggie’s Penguin Parade’, a trail of 100 individually designed penguin sculptures set to bring together businesses, schools, community groups and creative artists in a series of events culminating in a free and accessible public art trail.

We are looking for entrants aged between 8-26 to design their very own ‘Scottish Penguin’, by designing a penguin that portrays what Scotland means to you.
