Formal volunteering - helping groups and organisations

27% of adults in Scotland - that's over 1.20 million people - have volunteered formally through an organisation or group in the last year. This figure has remained relatively stable for the last 9 years.

Adults Base: All = 9410. Women = 5160. Men = 4240

Margin of error = +/- 0.90 percent (%) at the 95% Confidence Level.
