About Opportunity

Give and Take is a part time volunteering programme for the benefit of young persons who are at risk of social exclusion, perhaps through disability, mental health issues, previous drugs abuse, problems at school, or general confidence issues. We work with referral agencies that support these people, and develop a part time voluntary placement for them aimed at building up confidence and personal skills, in preparation for a next step in their development. Support volunteers are needed to accompany those young people who are not ready or unable to volunteer independently, by accompanying, superivsing and mentoring them you will be allowing them the chance to gain confidence, life skills and autonomy. You will be co-ordinated and supported by the CSV Volunteer Manager. Having use of your own car would be very helpful, but is not required.
