About Opportunity

The Wave Project is a volunteer-led initiative that uses surfing and peer-mentoring to help young people overcome varying challenges that they face through social isolation, disability or mental health problems. This exciting project takes place in Dunbar, running alongside Coast to Coast Surf School and needs your help! The Wave Project depends on committed and enthusiastic volunteers in order to deliver first class programmes. If you feel you could spare a few hours on a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon to jump in the water alongside some of our young people please do not hesitate to get in contact! Water experience is not required though may be helpful.
