About Opportunity

At Afri-Link we help the marginalised of the NW Highlands in Cameroon. Amongst others, we assist orphans, the elderly, widows and single mothers. We do this in a variety of ways and need a person in country to supervise various projects. We work closely with BERUDA www.beruda.org , a local NGO, to implement: • An orphan project; we have 65 orphan for whom we provide clothing, food, medical needs and school expenses. • A pig farm, biogas unit and fish farm so that BERUDA can become self sufficient and help the marginalised in the region. • A project to help the elderly – maintaining their homes and providing for their needs. • A project to help widows, single mothers and disabled people to start and run businesses, so they can provide for themselves and their dependants. You will act as a link between Afri-Link and BERUDA and provide guidance and support to the local people. This opportunity will provide a real challenge to work in an overseas environment. Notwithstanding this, there is tremendous satisfaction to be had in helping people and to live in a wonderful environment.
