Data Input Officer
£15,925 per annum, fixed term until 31st March 2018, full-time 35hrs per week
Volunteer Scotland leads in developing new ways to grow and enhance volunteering in Scotland by providing advice and resources to volunteer involving organisations of all sizes, and connecting Scotland’s people with volunteering opportunities. We have an excellent, friendly working environment that is centrally located in Stirling with close proximity to public transport links.
Based in our Disclosure Services Team and reporting to the Customer Support Manager, the role’s main responsibility is for accurate and efficient data entry of Disclosure and PVG information into a central database. Educated to National 3/Standard Grade level (or equivalent) you will have experience in an administrative, customer service, or similar role, with experience of handling and processing high volume enquiries. You will have excellent IT skills including MS Office, and knowledge of electronic records management. With excellent communication skills, you will have the ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure to meet service level agreements.
The successful postholder will be required to obtain a Basic Disclosure and obtain a BPSS level security check. Volunteer Scotland is a Disability Confident Committed employer. Volunteer Scotland offers a guaranteed interview to disabled candidates who meet the minimum requirements for the post.
