Take part in groundbreaking research!
29 July 2015
Were you one of the amazing Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games volunteers? Did it inspire you to keep volunteering? Well Briony Sharp wants to hear from you.
Briony is a PhD student from the School of Arts, Social Science and Management at Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh.
Her study examines the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games Legacy focusing on volunteer programmes. Briony is exploring 'social legacy' which includes assessing the well being and happiness of volunteers. Aspects of this research have never been undertaken before!
Participants must have been (or continue to be) part of one or more volunteer programmes (Clydesiders, Frontrunner, Host City, Baton Bearers, and others) linked to the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. Does this sound like you?
If you agree to participate in the study you will be asked to take part in an anonymous survey (which you are free to withdraw from at any stage). The results may then be published in a journal or presented at a conference.
