Growing Young People’s Volunteering in Scotland

12 October 2015

Hosted by Volunteer Scotland and YouthLink Scotland this seminar invites you to help generate practical ideas for growing young people’s participation in Scotland.

#iwill YL 2

YouthLink Scotland promotes the #iwill campaign which aims to increase the number of young people involved in an activity that makes a difference to their community, society or environment.  The campaign aims to encourage as many young people as possible to volunteer.

Volunteer Scotland has recently undertaken research focussing on Young People’s Volunteering in Scotland.  Sharing this research with a range of practitioners and policy makers has helped identify practical actions to help grow young people’s participation.

This is an opportunity for practitioners and policy makers to connect, hear about the latest practice and research for involving young volunteers and generate practical actions for growing volunteering amongst young people.

Where: YouthLink Scotland, Rosebery House, 9 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5EZ

When: Friday 6th November 10:30 – 12:30
